We are currently seeking new Trustees for our Board
This is a fantastic opportunity to help realise our new strategic vision; securing our future and the important role we play in the community for years to come.
TramShed is an inclusive theatre company based in Blackpool with members across the Fylde coast and beyond. We’ve recently celebrated our tenth year of operation, and have exciting ambitions for the next decade. You’d be joining our registered charity at a significant time: we recently completed a strategic review and we’re at the start of a change management process. We are considering what we want to achieve and how we can become a sustainable organisation.
Who we’re looking for
We’re particularly interested in those with experience in HR, fundraising & development (income-generation), finance, PR, outreach/theatre in education, and change management. We’d also like to bring trustees onto the Board with specific arts experience whether as a performer, practitioner, or manager – especially those who’ve worked directly with innovative theatre companies, contemporary practice or in outreach/theatre in education programmes.
We intend to create a more diverse Board which is inclusive and representative of the communities we serve. We therefore welcome applications irrespective of age, gender or gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, medical or other need.
We are also recruiting a new Chair of Trustees through this process.
