IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The latest government advice issued with regards to COVID-19 (coronavirus) states we should now avoid all non-essential contact. TramShed have no option but to cancel all workshops until further notice. We will be watching the government updates closely and aim to return at the start of the new term on Monday 20th April. Our return date will be based on official advice, ensuring the safety of our membership and families.

TramShed’s online presence will, as always remain in place during the closure to ensure our TramShed community stays strong.

Coronavirus Important Information – 16th March 2020

TramShed Theatre Company remain OPEN this week and workshops will be running as normal.
We will be maintaining contact with you as updates continue regarding the coronavirus pandemic.At present, we are following guidance from the government that it is ‘business as usual’. However, in the event that anything changes we will notify you as soon as possible. The government have now issued an action plan for tackling the spread of the virus, which you can read HERE.
In the meantime, refer to the Public Health England guidance in the first instance. Their pages are being updated daily and outline how to prevent spreading the virus, such as washing our hands regularly for the length of two Happy Birthdays.
If you show any signs or symptoms of the virus such as a new persistent cough, cold like symptoms and a raised temperature above 37.8 degrees, please remain at home. If you feel that self-isolation is appropriate, please let one of the team know you are unable to attend and let us know if we can help in anyway.

Silver Arts Award Launch!

TramShed are delighted to launch our new Silver Arts Award qualification on Wednesday 25th March – 6pm-7.30pm at Woodlands school.
The course is open to anyone who has completed the Bronze qualification, aged 11-25 years.
We have a limited number of places available, which will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

TramShed are delighted to launch our new Silver Arts Award qualification in Inclusive Performing Arts for young people aged 11-25 years. This is a nationally recognised level 2 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework.

We will be holding an information evening on Monday 2nd March from 6pm-7pm at Woodlands School, Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, FY3 9HF. The evening will be an opportunity to hear more about the course, the criteria needed to take part and to answer any questions you may have. We have a limited number of places available, which will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Application packs will be available at the end of the session and a full break down of course dates will be provided.
