Official statement from TramShed Theatre Company
We’ve enjoyed being based at Montgomery High School over the last nine years, and thank the school for allowing TramShed to use its facilities for office administration, workshops and events space.
As a registered charity we have appreciated the support provided by the school during that time, especially in the current economic climate which has been challenging for all arts and community organisations. However, due to changes in circumstance we are now unable to continue using the facilities at Montgomery High School.
As a result, TramShed are re-locating to Woodlands School in Blackpool from Monday 2nd November 2015. We’ve got an existing strong relationship with both the school and staff as TramShed has worked with the team since 2005 on many different projects, including most recently on Muli Mutya, Lancashire! Woodlands will house all of our main company workshops, meetings and training sessions. A map of the new location can be seen here.
We would like to formally thank Woodlands School for offering us workshop and meeting space which will enable us to continue delivering Inclusive Theatre workshops for new and existing members within our community.
